A letter from a friend...

Dear Will,

First of all, happy birthday! 🥳🎉

Enjoy it with Ray and everyone else. I truly wish I could be there with you all, just enjoying and having a great time together. As you know, I’m not half as good as you at writing, but I’ll do my best and just speak from the heart.

I love you, brother. I truly do, and I love everything God has given me through you and your friendship: maturity, laughs, trips, ideas, games, studies, meals, vision, growth, and life. The list could keep going… It is really one of the greatest blessings and honors to call you my friend. You really are one of a kind. I’m not exaggerating when I say I don’t have this kind of friendship and brotherhood with anyone else. You’ve given me so much, and honestly, I won't ever be able to repay you. But know this, you will always have a friend who will be faithful. Who will be faithful to what we have and to the mission and vision we share. I’ll be there in mountains and valleys, and by God’s grace, I trust we’ll be together again soon, making more moments like the ones we cherish.

I look forward to growing, building my own family, and one day just hanging out together with our wives and kids over a barbecue. I can see ourselves working on business, serving the church, and blessing the world through our ministry and our dedication to the Lord.

One of the things I admire the most about you is how you lead this group towards greatness and big dreams that otherwise would be impossible on our own. I truly believe that with God and through you, we are capable and can do great things for the kingdom. You are definitely a faithful steward of your talents, and I clearly see you as a great minister one day. And even if not, you will absolutely be a vital piece for the Kingdom of God. I love that about you, and I am committed to following you and doing what I can to be a great help for this mission.

William, I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I truly can’t thank you enough. You know I have had little to give and much to receive, but you have not counted that against our friendship. Instead, you have imitated the love of Christ with me. Investing in me in so many ways, having patience with me, and wanting me to grow and mature. Please know that every time you advise, correct, or guide me, I take it to heart. I may not always seem like I change immediately, but I will always work to be a stronger, wiser, and intelligent man of God. One like the bible describes in 1 Timothy, and what can be better than a brother that sharpens me like Iron. Thank you for being that mentor and counsel for me. I look up to you and desire to be a great man one day. And I will forever be grateful for what you teach me every day.

Again, I really wish we could be together right now, having a great time just like the golden days. I miss you, miss all the gang, and I miss all we did back then. You are by far one of the most amazing friends the Lord could have ever given me, and I really honor what we have.

May the grace and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace. May you rejoice in the wife of your youth and the friendships that surround you today.

Your silly and dearest friend,

~ Daniel
